About Pescatore
The Pescatore Approach
The design process is much like a dry stone wall- strength comes from both order and flexibility. We start with a solid plan, built with years of hands-on experience. Throughout the process, we remain responsive to new discoveries which often lead to design opportunities that cannot be conceived of on the drafting table. Adam will be on-site everyday so there's no translating messages through a chain of command to muddy up communications. The outcome is an elegant, playful and smart design.
Process Milestones

Initial Consult with Adam (usually $150-200 to meet, walk to the site, discuss project desires and budget)

General Proposal and Estimate

Approval or editing of proposed plan/further design work and deposit
4
Scout and choose materials (client may be involved if interested). Plan start date based on schedules and weather
5
Break ground to build something that will last lifetimes
Experience & Expertise
Custom Stone Work since 2003
Adam Fisher, Owner of Pescatore, began his journey with stone in 2002 after graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in Land Use. In 2003, he traveled to Italy to study dry stone building techniques and adopted the name Pescatore. He has continued to hone his craft and develop his instincts, always eager to learn from his colleagues and from the stones themselves. Adam is a certified Level 2 Waller with the Dry Stone Walling Association (DSWA).
